Project Scope

Swift Fire & Safety installed and commissioned a complete Farfisa door entry and intercom system across the Guild House development. The project covered 138 apartments across five residential blocks, connecting residents with seven external entrance points to provide a reliable and straightforward access solution.

Challenges and Solutions

Connecting a Complex Multi-Block Development

With 138 apartments spread across five residential blocks and seven external entrances, Guild House required a door entry system capable of providing reliable communication across the entire development. The solution needed to work seamlessly for residents while remaining straightforward to manage and use.

Efficient Installation & Commissioning

To streamline the installation, the equipment was programmed and fully tested by Access Security Solutions before arriving on site. This reduced configuration work for our engineers and allowed the Swift team to focus on the physical installation, testing and commissioning of the system.

Complete Farfisa Door Entry Solution

Swift Fire & Safety installed a Farfisa Duo system comprising seven Solvo TD2000A audio entrance panels and 138 Astro AT962 internal handsets. The completed system provides reliable communication between apartments and external entrances, while offering the flexibility required for a large residential development.

Outcome

Guild House now has a complete door entry and intercom system connecting 138 apartments across five residential blocks and seven external entrance points.

The project demonstrates Swift’s ability to deliver security solutions for larger and more complex residential developments, from initial planning through to installation, testing and commissioning.
